Xiaomi announces Redmi Note 7, an intermediate with 48 MP camera
Anyone who thinks that cheap smartphones have bad cameras can start reviewing this concept. That’s because Redmi, which is now a subsidiary of Xiaomi , has just introduced the Redmi Note 7 , a cheap device with decent settings for a mid-range device and a 48-megapixel camera.

Many pixels do not necessarily mean a good camera, but Redmi Note 7 has a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor. This component has an interesting differential: Samsung’s Tetra Cell technology, capable of unifying four pixels into a large 1.6 μm pixel, capturing more light and producing better photos.
In short, therefore, it is as if the rear camera of the Redmi Note 7 counted on a powerful sensor of 12 megapixels. Complementing the camera specifications are another 5MP rear lens with depth sensor and a 13MP front camera.
The other main specs are 6.3-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD + resolution, Snapdragon 660, 3 GB, 4 GB or 6 GB RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB for internal storage. The battery is a 4,000 mAh large tank. On the front and back, the device is covered by 2.5D glass panels and it has USB-C port and support for facial unlocking.
- Front Camera: 13 MP
- Rear Camera: 48 MP (f / 1.8, 1/2 “, 0.8 μm) + 5 MP (f / 2.4)
- Video: 1080p @ 30/60 / 120fps, (gyro-EIS)
